Count all the extra symbols your enemy has (including 1 for Ice or Fire and 2 for Coldfire Attack) and add that number to the Ice Block 5.
e.g. against an Ice Dragon you'll have Ice Block 5 + 4 = 9 (Ice Dragon has Paralyze, Ice Resistance, Physical Resistance and Ice Attack)
